How does your booking process work?
Once you've submitted an inquiry, you will receive an email from me within 24-48 hours. I will attach a PDF pricing guide that has more information on my prices along with a separate email to answer my questionnaire. Once we can decide on a date and package, I will send over your contract and an invoice to pay your 25% deposit that will go towards your remaining balance. Once those two things are done, your date is officially locked in!
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. I offer payment plans on certain portrait and wedding packages.
What is your turnaround time?
Portrait sessions are about 2 weeks
Weddings are 6 weeks but you will get lots of sneak peeks the next morning before you wake up so that you can share with the family and post them on your social media platforms.
Do you help with posing?
YES. I always get told "We're super awkward, you'll have to tell us what to do!" Of course, I got you. I give you prompts so you have something to do while I snap away! Lots of clients bring pinterest poses and I'm all for it. If you have ideas, screenshot them and bring it to our session!
What happens if the weather is bad?
Ultimately it comes down to two things. We will either relocate or reschedule. I'm pretty open when it comes to shooting in different types of weather. I'll be watching the forecast before our day together and if it is not ideal to shoot, I am flexible with rescheduling. If you're down to shoot in the rain then I am too! I'll make suggestions on what to do but it's whatever you're comfortable with.
What is a print release?
A print release allows you to print your photos at any printing facility you so choose. They are to be used for personal prints only.
Are you insured?
Yes.
What if we choose not to use the complimentary engagement session?
Complimentary engagement sessions hold no monetary value. If you are not able to do a complimentary engagement session then we can do a day after session (day after the wedding). Otherwise you can not use this session as rehearsal dinner coverage, family photos session, extra time on your wedding day, etc.
Is the deposit refundable?
Your deposit 25% of your package and non-refundable. Your remaining balance is due the day of your session. If you booked a wedding, your remaining balance will be due 1 week before your wedding so that you can focus on your big day and not fuss about payments the day of.
How many pictures do I get?
YOU GET A LOT. This is something I don't want you to worry about. I don't like witholding any pictures that you possibly would love and use. I don't make you chose a certain amount of photos out of the hundreds I take. Rest assured I strive to give you as much photos as I can from your session/wedding.
Do you give RAW unedited photos?
Absolutely not. My edits are what sets me apart from other photographers. Editing is part of why a client hires me. Giving unedited/raw photos gives the opportunity for my work to be manipulated. This is why it's super important hire a photographer that edits to your taste!
Do you photoshop skin or bodies?
I'll do minimal skin retouching at my discretion. As far as digitally altering your body, I absolutely do not do that. If you have a concern please let me know at any point in the booking process so that I can help you pick out clothing that best fits your shape.
What do we wear?
Wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident! Wearing neutral and earth toned clothing is always best. If you are wearing clothing with print, I recommend small printed clothing. The goal is to not let your clothing distract your faces in the images. I'd love to be a part of choosing what you should wear!
Does your prices include tax?
Yes, my prices are a flat rate and have no hidden fees.
Do we pay for a permit if it is needed to shoot in certain places?
Yes. I will help with figuring out if we need a permit and the costs, but It is up to you to secure and pay for it. You must show proof before our time together.
